Perfect Portrayal of a Post-Feminist Woman

Thanks to "itsyoureternalsoul" for the pic:

Reading about the 1927 bombing is instructive on how politicians reacted in a less-feminist dominated society. The governor of Michigan visited the scene. His first act was to hold an inquest to determine whether any public officials were negligent. He also pledged relief efforts.

A wealthy US Senator from Michigan organized a fund to help the survivors and rebuild the school. He started it with $75,000 of his OWN money.

President Calvin Coolidge ordered a National Day of Mourning, but, unlike our current leader, wasn't out crying and group-hugging in public nor did he propose any new laws because of the incident.

  2. Unlike our current presidential politician, Coolidge did something on the National Day of Prayer,
and probably prayed to the God of the universe, instead of Allah

Yep: it's noteworthy that the MEN running the country back then actually DID something. The Bath School reopened again within six months.

There wasn't psychobabble and grandstanding all over the place about 'national healing' or 'seeking closure' or 'trying to understand.' These guys got busy and did something positive: and they'd didn't strip everybody else of their rights at the same time.

  5. Just my own suspicion, but I think the gun control debate is a red herring. I don't think the Obamanogs can really get much more than some token, meaningless legislation actually through Congress.

My guess is their REAL goal is to introduce something mandatory mental-health screening among 'children' (which Obamacare defines as up to the age of 26). Obama's slipped in this idea during a few of his recent chest-thumping speeches, and it was part of Hillary's original proposed healthcare package back in the 90s.

    1. That is really f**king scary...

Every child must undergo mandatory "mental health" screenings...

And we all know how flimsy psychology is.

"mentally fit" will now be defined by the state - and kids MUST be checked...

  6. Eric has a great point, they'll pass gun control but the bill will be filled with a bunch of other crap that has nothing to do with gun control. Hell it's not like they read any of shit they vote on anyways.

    Great post brother!

  7. Captain:
The head of the NRA even floated the idea of a 'National Mental Health Registry' which was warmly received by the media. Of course, screening (under Obamacare provisions) would have to be a part of that.

My guess is that Obama will give Congress some draconian gun law that he knows will never pass; but the Republicans will support the mental health iniatives in exchange for severely watering-down the gun control bill. That way, the Republicans can grandstand as defenders of the 2nd Amendment while an even more dangerous threat to our liberties passes completely unnoticed and both parties laugh all the way to the bank. IOW, business as usual!
